The two scenic units set in the “Barber Shop” Configuration

The set comprised of two independent interlocking rolling units. Each unit is built on a 2x6 platform suspended on low profile tri-swivel casters.

Each unit included a secondary upper platform supported by faux wooden I-beams with a 2x6 core and plywood wings.

As ATD I was the technical lead on the stage right unit working with the Student TD who was responsible for the SL unit to ensure consistency across the two units

The fire escape stair case was built using plywood stringers with threaded rod used as tensioning rods to hold the stringers square between the 2x6 landing platform and the bottom platform.

The stair treads where created using 1” grate iron supported by strips of angle iron
